I love being a Post-Partum Doulas because it makes me feel connected to my ancestors. I feel connected to my Divine Feminine energy - the time I spend with new families as a woman is so valuable and essential. This work reminds me of a time when there was one woman in the village who sat with new families and mothered the new mother. Being part of this ancient tradition makes me feel a part of our connected liberations. It's what I was put on this earth to do.
